I really love this shampoo bar. It’s just perfect. My daughter gave me a bar for Christmas and I immediately ordered 4 more bars. It’s just perfect!!!

I have to say I absolutely love this bar - I've gotten so many compliments on how healthy and shiny my hair (waist long, straight blonde hair - dyed lighter every 6 weeks) looks now, and my scalp which used to be itchy and dandruff-prone has completely cleared up.

I absolutely love this conditioner and the shampoo bar as well. This color balancing duo has done better than any bottled purple shampoo that I’ve bought. It smells good, it’s easy to use, it makes my hair extremely soft and moisturized. of course I’ve bought one of the bamboo boxes to keep them in, otherwise they would probably have dissipated quicker because of the shower.

I was apprehensive about spending 18 dollars on a bar of conditioner that I had never tried before, but I threw caution to the wind and bought it anyway. Since I purchased it on Sept 6th, 2019 and I still haven't finished it yet, I'd say I got my money's worth. It's a tiny sliver 1 year later, but it probably will go for a couple more weeks. I am very satisfied with it's function as well. I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to personal care, so my perspective might be different from someone who curls, colors, primps and poses their hair, but for my needs this thing fully delivers.

WE tried Ethique's guardian and wonder conditioners in a sample pack and I wasn't convinced that I could make the switch. I don't love coconut scent, and the guardian didn't seem to detangle for me. This one was almost an impulse buy, and I'm so glad I took the chance. It nourishes my hair and makes detangling a breeze. Has a light, herbal smell that doesn't linger. I do need an occasional deep conditioning, maybe once a month to restore moisture. Love it. Love to reduce packaging waste.

I bought sandlewood. I love the scent. So does my family. My hair is softer than ever due to the clean ingredients.

You have to try it!!! So worth it! Way better than regular shampoos. Smells amazing and lasts longer. Leaves my hair feeling healthy and soft but not greasy.

Yes, it's a little pricey but you need very little amount and it goes on twice the time of any creamy plastic bottled conditioner. And the quality? Ethique made sure that vegans and eco friendly people do not have to compromise with quality to the least. The lather is so soft and will leave the hair silky and light to the touch. Comes with a very nice smell too ..

I prefer to use solid products while traveling- soap, shampoo, conditioner. I have tried several conditioning bars and this one is the best by far. It disperse quickly through the hair. One piece of advice- find a storage tin that fits the whole bar. I cut mine to fit a storage tin and that made the bar more fragile. It broke into pieces during use and that made it harder to use, which was entirely my fault.

I cannot believe how WONDERFUL this product is. I have heard such mixed reviews regarding shampoo and conditioner bars in general so I took the leap of faith in trying this out. I wasn't just pleasantly surprised , I was bowled over at how well they worked! I highly recommend getting both the shampoo and the conditioner and investing in the carry case. It keeps them dry and easy to store in the shower and works great fir travel. After about a week of using the product I began to get compliments from people about how great my hair looked. I am definitely going to continue using them and I highly recommend them.

So after a few months of using both the Guardian and the Too Delicious conditioner bars, I have to say, I kept finding myself reaching for the Too Delicious bar. It's way more moisturizing and makes my hair feel extra soft. At first, I didn't like that it felt heavier on my hair than Guardian, but I like it now. It keeps down the frizz and I don't even need to put any serums in my hair before blow drying or straightening because it's like an extra layer of protection. If you have thick or curly or wavy hair, I suggest this, but not if you have finer hair.

I love love love this bar! I have long thin fine straight hair that tangles easily. I can’t use a lot of anything in it without looking like a stringy greaseball. Most conditioners, even spray, weight it down too much. But this is a miracle bar! I use ~6 swipes or so instead of the recommended 4-5 simply to make sure I get the ends, then wrap it up to sit while I wash the rest of me. A quick rinse and comb through and I’m good! Practically knot-less, much less hair being pulled out and broken off, and super shiny without being stringy! I’m sold! Can’t wait to try the shampoo.

PRO TIP: Vegetable peeler. At first I had a hard time getting enough product into my hair. I have a lot of fine, straight hair that I try not to rough up too much to avoid breakage. The direct bar-on-head method wasn’t working for me and my showers were taking too long while I tried to get more product on my hair. Enter the veggie peeler. I peeled a few strips of the conditioner bar into a soap dish (that stays out of the shower so it doesn’t all melt). I wet and warm a strip in my hands before running it and my hands through my hair. I find it breaks down much faster as a strip, giving that creamy feeling like conventional conditioner. This method will certainly makes the bar not last as long, but it has kept me from turning back to the bottle!

Let me start by saying I am I totally product over user.....that being said when I came across ethique I was immediately interested. A few weeks ago I purchased their wonderbar I wanted to give it a few tries before I formulated an opinion on it. Well.......I LOVE IT! I used to by numerous bottles of conditioner (over user) and slather my hair. Well this bar cuts back on all of that and leaves my hair softer than any conditioner I’ve ever used. It works. a bit hard to get used to spreading it around but the results after only 2 washes are great! my hair is brighter and has more life to it and it's clean. I will note that the scent is so light you can barely smell it this may be a good thing or a bad thing for some people. but I was thinking about it If scent is made from oils that might make it harder for to wash your hair which is why this brand actually cleanse my hair.

It smells amazing, like a light scent of lime. It makes it surprisingly easy to comb through my super fine, tangly hair. It lasts twice as long as the shampoo bar(Frizz Wrangler) the shampoo bar is twice the size. A little goes along way. I use a little as a leave-in conditioner after the initial application after shampooing. I rinse it out, then rub the bar on my hands, then swipe my hands through my hair…definitely keeps the frizzies at bay.

I have been using this since November 2019. I have year round allergies and the scent it light enough that it doesn't bother me at all. Is is easiest to apply to your hair after you have just dunked your head under the water (opposite of bottle conditioner) and then rub is across your hair from ear to ear (cross-grain) to apply it quickly and easily. I flip my hair to the top of my head and apply to the underneath area with a couple of quick swipes. After that, simply put the bar away and work the applied conditioner into your hair. I only shampoo every other day because I have semi-curly hair that becomes dry very easily. I do apply this after a water wash to help with tangles and frizziness. I have been very pleased.

First time trying ethique and I love this conditioner. I am an adult. It leaves my waves/curls moisturized and defined. It’s weird to use at first cause you don’t know if anything is being deposited but I ran it down my hair twice (I have short hair) on top then twice underneath on both sides and was able to run my fingers through my hair without needing to use a detangling brush. It doesn’t weigh my hair down and has no real scent, which is great for my asthma. I highly recommend specially if you have tangly wavy/curly hair. I will continue to purchase. I’m excited to try other products from ethique.

I have dyed my hair forever and I have stopped about 10 months ago and I have white hair, this is helping remove the brassy color until it can all grow out. I like the results. Feels soft

i was a bit skeptical about switching to his conditioner and originally wanted to try the bar none conditioner which is much much cheaper but ended up buying ethique due to ulta sucking. i had been reading reviews and watching videos and people said that using it took some getting used to but i found that wasn't the case. i literally just use it as a bar of body soap, just on my hair. i did struggle with it for a couple of weeks due to my hair adjusting – my hair would be greasy/sticky and look straight up dirty after the second day (i wash my hair every sunday and wednesday) – and after that it has been nothing but amazing. my hair is extra soft and shiny and feels very healthy (it was already in good shape before though). it helps with detangling my hair a bit but that might be due to the comb i am using.

Works awesome! Love the fragrances too! My hair feels nice and clean and happy to not be using so much plastic anymore. Has really helped witht he breakout on my face too!

Pros: The shampoo/conditioner bars worked like a dream and almost better than the bottled products I have in my shower! Shampoo bar lathered wonderfully and didn’t take a lot of work. The conditioner - I couldn’t tell if it was going on at first, but once i went over my hair a few times it was obvious. My hair was soooo soft afterward and feels wonderful! The body bar worked, well, like a bar of soap. Lol.

Tried lots of conditioner bars but this is the only one I've actually liked and my hair is /so/ soft and shiny. As other reviewers stated, I do a few swipes and then duck my head under the spray real fast to work it through. My hair is fine, tends towards oily, and nearly down to the small of my back so I also do a few seperate passes on the length of my hair and work that through. The lavender smell is really nice. I use with frizz wrangler from the same company and am really happy. It's expensive no matter how you look at it but I only wash my hair 2-3 times/week and for the portability and plastic free aspects I'll pay more.

I have very thick, dry curly hair and I normally use a ton of conditioner. I have been trying to reduce my plastic usage and was looking for a cruelty free conditioner packaged in an environmentally-friendly way. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from a bar, but I was totally and pleasantly surprised. I use the bar with Ethique Frizz Wrangler shampoo. My hair has never been softer. It looks beautiful. The curls are great even though the conditioner is not especially for curly hair. And normally, if I go more than a day without conditioning it, it gets dry and brittle-feeling, but not with this conditioner. It still looked great 3 days later. This is an amazing product that I feel great about using.

I'm trying to replace products in my house with more eco-freindly options so when i ran out of hair product I decided to try bar shampoo and conditioner. I was a little skeptical about how well this would work for my hair but was pleasantly surprised. It moisturizes well and has a pleasant but not overwhelming scent. It seems to last a very long time. I will definitely be purchasing this bar shampoo and conditioner again.

The lavender smell makes me feel like I am all ready for bed at night. As with all their products, I love that they are all natural and cruelty free. My skin is always left feeling amazing

Wonderbar certainly lives up to its name! This is the first bar of conditioner that I can easily get into my ends and into my hair. I have wavy hair that I finger comb in the shower and this conditioner has good slip so I can accomplish that quickly. I am left with soft, manageable hair that is in no way heavy or weighed down. Very impressed with this product.

I absolutely love this product! This is my first conditioner bar. I have recently tried another brand and it does not match the quality of ethique! I have curly, fine hair. Conditioners have to be amazing for me to keep using them. For years I have been using aussie 3 minute miracle. This product ranks right up there for curly hair that dries easily. Love this. The moisture is amazing!

They are so easy to use and leave your hair feeling so clean and fresh! Also feel like the natural ingredients have given my hair a healthier feel.

I love how the shampoo bar lathers and smells,It honestly doesn’t leave any residue either.

When I was younger, I remember my family having a shampoo bar and conditioner bar from Lush. I liked the shampoo one a lot but didn't care for the conditioner bar. Wanting to be more eco-friendly now, I decided to give this a shot (I'm a big fan of the Irwin family and saw at least one, if not a couple, people on Facebook post about this). I've really liked it. I do rub it on my hair more than it suggests because I'm still getting used to not "feeling" the conditioner. My hair feels great after using it. Haven't been using it too long in my household, but there's two of us using it and it barely looks like we've made a dent in it (I don't wash my hair every day, but my partner does). I would definitely recommend this and plan on getting it again in the future.

I was super hesitant to purchase a bar for detangling, but I really want to eliminate all of the plastic bottles in the house and am trying to be more "green". I first purchased a trial size on the Ethique website. This bar has a slight scent, but it leaves hair smelling fresh, without being scented. It is the best detangler I have used for my long hair. It does not leave hair feeling or looking greasy. I use this from about ear level and down, and leave it in while showering. I can literally run my fingers through wet hair without snagging in a tangle. Highly recommend this, and all Ethique products, after trying several trial sized bars.

I was very skeptical about buying a conditioning bar. My hair is highlighted and tends feel dry and brittle. After only three uses my are feels soft and fuller. Only complaint is not a detangling conditioner. It pairs well with the purple shampoo bar I purchased as well. For the price it is definitely worth a try.

I purchased this after trying the sample size and falling in love. My hair is 2b/c type and color treated so it is DRY. Liquid conditioners, oils, hair masks, etc would STILL leave my hair feeling like straw. This however leaves my hair super soft and I have less and less breakage after each use. Before trying this I would have clumps of hair falling out from how damaged it was and after this product (plus Heali Kiwi) my hair is getting healthier. I love that this is a sustainable, ethical company. I love everything they stand for and am happy to reduce my waste. Considering that the mini version lasted me for months, the full size should last for nearly a year (with ~3x/week use).

The conditioner is great! I have long, wavy, coarse hair with highlights, with ends damaged from heat and highlighting. The conditioner softens my hair a lot! When I apply it, I leave it for 30 mins as a mask every time I wash my hair, just because my hair is so dry. My sister used the conditioner on her hair that is the opposite of mine - straight, skinny, and tends to get grease in a day. She said that she liked that this conditioner would not make her hair greasy. So I guess it can be used for different types of hair. I love the scent of the bar too. Won’t be switching back to liquid conditioners in plastic bottles, that’s for sure.

I wanted to make the switch to solid shampoo and conditioners to be more eco friendly. After trying several found on different zero-waste blogs this one has been the best by far! It really lasts as long as they say it does when you store it properly (i.e. allowing it to dry between uses, and keeping it away from the water when not in use). It has been amazing for my long, wavy, bleached and dyed hair. I also have an oily scalp, so I only use it from about 1 1/2" away from my scalp down. It always leaves my hair feeling silky and soft. I use it in conjunction with the St. Clemens bar shampoo. My three daughters also use it, one has about waste length thick, coarse hair, one has shoulder length thick fine hair, and one is a toddler and it works great for all of us! For the toddler I don't slick it on her hair, I just rub it between my hands and then run them through her hair. The rest of us slick the wet bar over our wet hair a few times and let it sit a few minutes. One bar has lasted all four of us about 2 1/2 months.

I love the scent, I know its a "limited edition" but I hope they keep it around. The process of bar shampoo and conditioner was a learning curve, but my hair is super soft now. It takes a bit to rinse out (probably just me using too much in my longer hair) and I've definitely had a couple of post-shower wet brushing where I was still getting conditioner out of my hair, but as I said, it's a learning curve and I don't have to worry about shampoo and conditioner bottles piling up because I keep forgetting to take them to the recycling bin.

Over the past few months, I've been slowly making the switch from liquid products to solid, as solid products are more portable and eco friendly. While it wasn't difficult finding a shampoo that worked with my hair (my hair is not very picky at all), it's been a nightmare trying to find a conditioning product that does its job. I tried both Jungle and Sugar-Daddy-O from lush, but for both of them, it felt like an eternity trying to get enough product off the bar to actually make a difference in my hair (it doesn't help that I have thick, waist length hair). It felt like I had to melt off a nontrivial amount of the bar before I could use it.

I randomly came across these soaps while googling organic shampoo. The reviews were outstanding, so I bought shampoo and conditioner. I have very wavy to curly dry flyaway hair. I don’t like to use products that weigh my hair down. I’m happy to say these products made my hair feel very soft. That is not easy to achieve for me. I’ve been using for a week now and every use my hair is shiny and soft. It is more manageable then before. Like any soap, it can melt if it stays wet. I put my soaps in a small dish after my shower. After one week with doing that, hardly any melting. I expect the shampoo and conditioner to last a long time. Will be buying again and also checking out some of their other products. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought this conditioner in late August 2018. It is now early August 2019 and I'm still using the same bar. I've been using it as my sole conditioner for a year now, probably 3-4 times per week, and haven't even wanted to search for anything else. It's starting to get pretty small, so it's time to reorder and write a review. So here it is: I LOVE it! It is easy to use, though like others have said, it's not like normal conditioner. I don't need a ton and, in fact, if I use too much, my hair gets greasy. I don't often condition my roots for the same reason. As soon as I rub it in my hair, I can feel the softness and smoothness and tangles disappear. It does take some getting used to, but after a year of it, I'm going back for more.

This is great! I have long (below breast) dry hair and this gives a great deep condition without being greasy (which I was concerned about). It doesn't lather in any way and I find it best to just rub the bar on my wet hair in a downward motion. This is also FABULOUS for shaving. This bar lets me skip the plastic packaging for large bottles of conditioner that I used to use for my hair and shaving. However, I do not agree that it replaces 5 bottles of conditioner. Maybe 3 at best. It’s pretty spendy though, would be much cheaper just to buy bottled conditioner on sale. Ethique needs to make the bar bigger or to drop the price.

I have curly hair, that is very fine and has a LOT of curl and volume. I need a good conditioner that will coat my hair without adding weight or any "filminess". And this bar gives me exactly what I need! After shampooing and rinsing, I put this bar in the palm of one hand, and "sandwich" my hair between my two hands, running my hair between them from scalp to ends. First on one side, then the other. Then I put the bar away, and run my fingers through my hair to distribute the conditioner evenly all over. I let it sit on my hair about 3 minutes while I wash my body, then rinse like normal.

I used to use Lush’s conditioners because I was going zero waste but they were too dry for my hair. I tried almost all of their conditioner bars but had no luck with them. After that I assumed that all conditioner bars were the same and my only option was to get conditioner in a bulk store. But I actually looked up moisturizing conditioner bars and this is one of the bars that came up. At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to spend $18 for another conditioner bar that didn’t work, but I decided after reading all of the reviews that I would check it out. And I’m glad I did. I really love this conditioner bar and I’m not sure if I’d ever go back to the others! If you’ve tried other conditioner bars and you found they weren’t very conditioning then you should try this one. Mind you - my hair can get oily but the Lush conditioners stripped my hair dry and left it squeaky. This conditioner reminds me of regular conditioner. I would say if you find it to be a little more on the dry side, just don’t rinse it as throughly. I’ve had this bar for over a month now and it still looks like it could last another few weeks. If you are looking to switch from regular conditioner to bar. This might be your best bet, but I think that you should go in with low expectations because it might be less conditioning then what you might be used to. But for me, I was used to my hair being dried out from the other bars so this is levels up from that.

Buying again for sure!

I have to admit, I was reluctant to pay so much for a conditioner. I kept reading reviews and I am very committed to removing plastic from my life every where I can. Eventually I tried a bar. Wow. Just...wow. I have yet to see how many uses I get. While I still find the price a bit steep I cannot deny that I am impressed with the condition of my hair. I have very fine very thin hair and I live in the desert. Read as my hair is very difficult to keep from having a straw-like texture. Today I brushed my hair without detangler. That means a lot. Hope this review helps someone else.

It hydrated and detangles as well or better than most bottle conditioners I’ve used. It’s also very easy to use: just swipe it several times down the length of your hair and then comb through with your fingers. Best part is it doesn’t leave any gunk or residue in my hair so there’s no need for a vinegar rinse! The smell is nice and pretty subtle.

I get pretty much all of my bath items from lush and this bar is so much better than any other conditioner bars at lush. I will say this bar is pretty moisturizing so use it lightly and it’ll last you about 2 to 3 months depending on how much you wash your hair and how much of your hair you actually condition. A great bonus is my husband loves it too! I don’t love the smell of it but I do love how great the product works.

The smell is AMAZING (I ordered the Bindi Irwin shampoo & conditioner bars) and the lather is fantastic. I prefer soap-free/detergent-based shampoo because I don’t like the waxy feeling associated with soap-based shampoo bars.

I have long heavy straight hair that tangles easily. I finally broke down and tried this conditioner as I wanted to be rid of plastic bottles and I hate how long it takes me to rinse out slimy conditioner. My hair always felt like it had the conditioner still in it after rinsing and rinsing. I was totally skeptical and thought it would never work for my hair. I was so wrong! I love it! It softens wonderfully. It rinses out easily and I can comb through my hair after showering with no problems. I am saving time in the shower because I am not rinsing and rinsing over and over to get out the bottled conditioner. Not only that, I have noticed my hair is shining more. I highly recommend this conditioner. I am Hooked!

This line of products blew me away. Let me start by saying I have extremely color treated hair. I have not bleached in about 3 months, but it still feels the affects of purple toning shampoo every 2 weeks. So my ends especially can be dry. I was a bit worried as I have used bar shampoos and conditioners in the past without much luck. I was looking through reviews as I wanted to get back to these planet saving options, and came across the Ethique brand. My hair in this picture is not styled at all and has no product in it. I slept with my hair damp and woke up to this. The product does the job and then some, plus smells so good! I am so excited to try their line of skincare next!

Very Great Product for the Price!

Let me start with I didn’t know what to expect. A couple years ago I tried the whole solid hair care thing (before it was seen on buzz feed or in drugstores) and the experience with the small batch artisanal hippie products was traumatic. As in never going to do that again trauma. In the last year or so though I couldn’t help but notice it has become much more mainstream. I also have long fine hair that’s SUPER prone to tangling with an oily scalp. A gentle breeze, an errant hair tie, the simple act of looking or thinking about my hair will cause it to tangle and knot.
